Windermere understands the importance of giving back to our community. Enriching the neighborhoods in which we live and work is an integral part of how we do business. Windermere Northlake has been a prominent community supporter and our involvement with local events is very important to us.
Here are just some of the events and activities that we are sponsoring and/or a part of. Be sure to give our office a call to see what's going on this month:
Jazz on the Lawn - August 2nd, 1 pm - 3 pm
Join us for a delightful afternoon on out lawn, where you can relax and enjoy some wonderful jazz performance by the local band, Upbeats!
Document Shredding & Tech Recycle Day - May 17th
Each year, we set aside a day where you can bring in sensitive office documents to be shredded free of charge. We will also have a place where you can donate tech items such a computer equipment, old cell phones, etc., that you are no longer using. We love to make this a fun time with hot dogs, snacks and a fun prize wheel for anyone that donates to the Windermere Foundation! Come on by!
Community Service Day - June 6th
Since 1984, Windermere agents have dedicated an annual day of work to those in need. These hands-on projects benefit a wide variety of community-based organizations. This year, Windermere Northlake will be assisting the Lake Forest Park Stewardship Foundation with a cleanup at 5 Acre Woods park.
Back to School Drive - August
Celebrating kids going back to school, our office traditionally teams up with the Windermere Foundation and local non-profit organizations to provide children with much needed supplies like backpacks, new shoes for the school year, etc. Check with us as the dates get closer to see how you can join with us.
Santa Photos - December
We love the holiday season and enjoy inviting clients to our office for a visit with Santa. Lots of holiday treats and photo opportunities with the Jolly St. Nick will be available.
Windermere Foundation - (throughout the year)
The Windermere Foundation is a non-profit organization that has raised millions of dollars to provide shelter, clothing, food and other services to homeless and low-income families. A significant portion of Windermere Foundation dollars go towards funding programs that help children, including daycare services, literacy programs, summer camps, and providing basic necessities, such as school supplies and backpacks. Our office proudly teams with Windermere Foundation throughout the year.
